how i can help
Self-worth lies at the heart of all our lives. Our feelings, thoughts, and behaviours stem from how we feel about ourselves and our world. By investing time in yourself with a skilled professional, counselling offers the opportunity to discover and develop your worth, supporting a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Many of us carry deep wounds from our childhoods and early lives, often without being fully conscious of them. These experiences can continue to shape our adult lives, affecting relationships, flexibility, and self-belief. When this happens, we are left with a choice: to continue repeating old patterns, or to begin offering ourselves the care and compassion we have always deserved. Counselling offers an opportunity to begin a process of healing and growth.

Awareness
We will work together to develop a clear and shared understanding of how you experience your difficulties. This may involve recognising the impact of trauma or identifying barriers to healing and growth. Developing awareness allows us to consider what you might need in order to move forward.
Acceptance
Many of us struggle against the realities of life or experience conflict between our thoughts and feelings. My approach supports the development of a kinder relationship with yourself, which can lead to greater inner peace and wellbeing. Acceptance is not resignation, but a full acknowledgement of present circumstances.
authenticity
Modern life can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves or others. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where my focus is to support you in reaching an experience of self that feels comfortable and genuine. I consider myself unshockable and welcome you to bring whatever feels important for you.

It is very common to feel uncertain or nervous about starting counselling. You are welcome to raise any concerns or questions at any point, including before booking your first session.
